There are so many opinions and stories about pet birds flying in houses. Some say that birds can?t fly in the home at all without running into walls. Some say they can, but it?s too dangerous. Others say they can?but to always cover the windows and mirrors because birds can?t understand glass? Who knows what to believe? In order to clear up misunderstandings, this video is posted as a benchmark so people will know what to truly expect with flight in the home. It documents the skills that you should see from *experienced indoor* flyers. IMPORTANT ? The skill level in this video is SKILLED AND EXPERIENCED. That means, the birds have good flight skills (not necessarily great), and are truly experienced with flying in a house?they know about the objects in a house and know how to (how not to) interact with them. Will your bird fly like this in a house? Depends on skill level and experience, but don?t try it or expect it without training!! Practice and training are the key.
