Do I need rear speakers to use an Alpine H660? - DIYMA Car Audio ...

Hi everyone

Nearly got all the bits together for my install, but I've suddenly realised I might've n00b'd it.

My plan was front speakers powered by a 2 channel amp, sub powered by mono, rear speakers powered by headunit.

I also have an Alpine H660 processor which I wanted to use with it all, but then realised that the rear speakers wouldn't be going through it since they are getting powered by the head unit.

Is this going to cause a big issue in tuning and time alignment? I want them there for rear fill only. I imagine they might have a bad affect on the sound stage once the H660 does it's thing with the rest of my equipment.

Worst case, I'll have to find a mini amp to hide in my already limited space, to power the rears.

Any advice is appreciated!
