Go Green With The Green Party - News and Society

The American political system has really been fundamentally a two party one. But there are many other parties with members that almost never get elected which includes the Green Party. As apprehension for the environment gets larger, as a result so has the Green Party. The Green Party is a political belief, which tries to attain its goals of environmental and green issues, through judgements made by grassroots participation. Their goals as an advocate also include social and civil liberties, and non-violence and peace.

The Green Party?s four pillars are based on age-old ideas. The first pillar goes beyond the idea that being eco-conscious is choosing paper or plastic at the grocery store. It truly is an issue that calls for the world to develop into a global community. The next approach is the end to all kinds of discrimination including class, race, gender and customs. The very next pillar is the notion of a non-centralized government where power comes from the individual and the local communities. Last, the Green Party believes in using non-violence as a means of living, not resorting to violence in dealing with opponents.

The Green Party?s belief system is based on Quaker ideals and influenced by great leaders like Gandhi. Their purpose is to be better World neighbors and deal with other cultures to triumph over differing beliefs. Several Christians in America have approaches to deal with people whom belief systems they reject. Most democracies surely have a Green Party of some sort already founded. Many countries, like Norway, South Africa and Canada, have all have Green Parties.

Unfortunately, the culture of the United States, has made the establishment of the Green Party a difficult thing. Some of the most intolerant groups of people make their home in America. These folks have absolutely 0 % tolerance for people with philosophies, religions and races that are distinct from theirs. How can a land filled with groups of indignant bigots, who only get along with each other when they are opposed to groups that they do not agree with, find out how to live in harmony with the rest of the world. But those who are in the Green Party are very anti-war so if they ran the country, there will always be peace no matter what happens.

The platform of the Green Party is a vision for our country that comes from a eco-social analysis. The Green Party bases their decisions on every Green Party member and not some select group of bigwigs. Every individual should have a say in their life, unlike the deals made by power-brokers. The Green Party platform is a piece of content that is always innovating, just like a living-work-in-progress. It is arrived at by means of a democratic approach that needs final approval, and it communicates a commitment to long-term change. Their essential principles are greatly depicted in their own Ten Key Values document. These beliefs are a necessary guidebook to counter a system that respects exploitation, and destructive competition, together with consumption, bordering on waste.
