Chocolate Cravings ? ? Holistic Health & Fitness in Cornwall

Yes I do ? have it ? raw- no added sugar and no added toxins ? its LUSH!

But why do you have cravings for it? Honestly, its your bodies way of telling you its a bit short of something, its needs a mineral its lacking, and if its chocolate you crave, its magnesium you need, as chocolate has a large amount of magnesium . Women in particular crave chocolate , especially attached to PMS symptoms. Thats the time to ensure you have a stand by of raw chocolate or raw cocoa powder?. Allow yourself to?have a hot chocolate drink, make it with hot water, even better for you than milk.

However, ( I know?) if you have adrenal fatigue, if you are overly stressed and tired, chocolate may not help you, and you should be looking elsewhere for that Magnesium kick. If your diet is rich in fresh veg, lean me and fruit, your magnesium level?may be ok, especially if the veg your are eating is grown locally or organic, grown in nutrient rich soil, and not soil thats depleted of minerals, which can be the case these days

Stock up?your bodies?bank of Magnesium by?purchasing??supplements from the health food shops?,??Amazon even sell it these days. ?Theres many brands, go for one that has the least bulking agents added and the highest amount of Magnesium per tablet so you dont end up taking 4 pills a day. Magnesium Citrate is popular and easily found, Orate is another type, as long as the name ends in ?ate? your body will aborb it, if you take Magnesium Oxide, which is found in cheaper tablets, it will pass straight through you, and thats the type you will see the most thats added to Vitamin and mineral supplements, start to read the labels. Be aware that processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, dairy, all make the system acidic, magnesium will not help you, most mineral and vitamin supplements wont help you if your diet is poor and ?toxic . You cant have your (chocolate) cake and eat it. You need to do some work first!

The cheap supplements you buy in supermarkets are not any help at all, they are made to taste sweeter with added aspartame and sweetners which damage the health long term , unbelievable that its allowed to adulturate a ?health? product in that way!?

Start with cleaning up?your diet, taking magnesium and begin to see the difference in your energy and mood.

Most of us suffer from many symptoms, depression, headaches, bi polar, type 2 diabetes, IBS,?anxiety, chronic fatigue, fybromyalgia..most if which would be dramatically reduced by eating the?right diet of magnesium rich foods, drinking plenty of water ? a litre for every 50lbs of body weight- eating less processed food, less refined salt and sugar, gluten and overly processed dairy, alcohol and caffeine from tea and coffee and fizzy drinks.

When you look back over the course of a months worth of eating, you will be amazed how little green veg you ate, and how much white processed food & sugar?you ate, then wonder how your body still functions. If you want it to function better , start listening to the warning sounds, and take a step to living a longer, healthier life, not just trudging through from day to day feeling sick and tired.

Remember, raw chocolate..its good for you. The occassional square, every now and then, you wont want to eat more than that as this is REAL chocolate, how its supposed to taste.

?The other stuff is just sugar overload.
