College football is entering Week 12, and things are beginning to heat up as the season nears its conclusion.?
Some teams have dominated for the majority of the year and are desperately trying to hold on for several more weeks; other teams have struggled and are running out of time to piece together a strong finish to the season.?
Either way, teams need their star players on the field in order to accomplish their final goals, but injuries certainly add up this late into the season.?
Here are several key injuries from around the country, along with the current status for each injury heading into Saturday's action.?

RB Knile Davis, Arkansas (Hamstring)
Status: Expected to Play
Knile Davis had 1,322 rushing yards and 14 total touchdowns in 2010, but injuries have limited him in 2012, forcing him to miss the last two games entirely (after he missed all of 2011).?
Hamstring injuries are painful and frustrating for running backs, but Davis still plans to take the field against Mississippi State on Saturday, according to Chris Breece with the local KSFM 5 News media (via Twitter):
Arkansas' season has brought nothing but disappointment after a 1-4 start, but if Davis can help the Razorbacks secure a victory, it will give them a 4-2 record over the last six games.?

QB Jeff Driskel, Florida (Ankle)
Status: Out
Jeff Driskel started the first 10 games for the Florida Gators and led them to a promising 9-1 record, but the quarterback sprained his ankle against Louisiana-Lafayette last weekend.?
The injury could cause Driskel to miss the game against Florida State to close out the season (according to Jeremy Crabtree of ESPN):
Driskel will be watching from the sidelines this weekend, but at least he claims to be feeling better:

RB Rex Burkhead, Nebraska (Knee)
Status: Questionable
Rex Burkhead has been a key figure of the Nebraska ground game for the last three seasons, but a knee injury has slowed him down in 2012. ?
After missing the last three games, Burkhead has been limited to just 405 rushing yards on the season.?
Burkhead was unable to contribute during the Cornhuskers victory over Penn State last Saturday, but he's hoping to suit up against Minnesota this weekend:
Burkhead's availability has not been confirmed, but keep an eye out for him this Saturday.?

QB Denard Robinson, Michigan?
Status: Questionable
Denard Robinson has missed the last two games with an arm injury, but Michigan has a 2-0 record in his absence, and backup Devin Gardner has played well.?
Robinson has only nine touchdowns on the season with nine interceptions, so he has certainly struggled at times.
Michigan should be in no hurry to force him on the field, but Robinson could see action this Saturday for sentimental purposes related to Senior Day:
Robinson is obviously hoping to see the field this weekend, but don't be surprised if they stick with Gardner.?

QB Zach Maynard, California (Knee)
Status: Doubtful
Zach Maynard watched from the sidelines as his Cal Golden Bears were crushed by the Oregon Ducks 59-17, and it looks as though Maynard will once again miss action this weekend against Oregon State:
With 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on the season, Maynard has struggled this season, but his absence certainly hurts California this weekend.?
