The California?State Controller?s Office (SCO), working with the Governor?s Office, has assembled a task force to build recommendations on information technology procurement, a spokesperson for the SCO confirmed today.
Members of the Task Force include some notable technology executives such as former California State CIO Teri Takai, Silicon Valley Leadership Group President and CEO Carl Guardino and former Oregon CIO and NASCIO Chairman Dugan Petty. ?The Chair of the Task Force is Rosio Alvarez, the CIO of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
