? The Hewitt School, a k-12 all-girls independent school, seeks a full-time Middle and Upper School Science Teacher for the 2013-2014 school year.? The position includes teaching science in grades 6-12 with the knowledge and experience to teach junior/senior science electives. The successful candidate must have strong content knowledge, broad technology skills, and a proven track record of innovation in both designing curriculum and developing pedagogy.? Candidates must be eager to work as a member of a dynamic STE2M team.? S/he will develop and implement science lessons that incorporate a range of learning styles to both develop and challenge each learner to her fullest potential.? Candidates will have a deep appreciation for student-centered, engaging and innovative teaching practices, and will welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other educators in developing integrated, project-based curricula. ?

? Candidates should have a Master?s degree, a minimum of three years of teaching experience, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
