Preserving My Most Cherished Baby Clothing #dreftlaundry

Special outfits were plentiful when I had my first baby six years ago. I had two baby showers, one with family and one at work, and literally felt showered with gifts. ?It was easy to pick out some special outfits to keep forever. But when my third child Wesley was born, everything was different.

This was my third boy. There was no baby shower. ?I am now staying at home with my boys so there are no coworkers to go in on a special gift. I can actually count on my hand the number of people who purchased Wesley a gift and so this time around I was able to pick out some very precious outfits that came directly from mommy. I didn?t need to feel guilty for buying more clothes because he needed some and I believe every baby should be celebrated. Regardless of the clothing I had kept from my first two, he deserved some clothing that was all his own.
I purchased this very special bodysuit from an Etsy shop. I love the modern style and colors, but more importantly, this is one is personalized and certainly something I can cherish forever.

I took these shots of him at 6 weeks. Now that he is six months I can?t help but get a tug at the heart strings remembering how little he once was and how fast he is growing. My precious Wesley James.

If there is one thing I?ve learned since having my third, it is that I appreciate clothing that is soft, comfortable and can be mixed and matched. I love simple?separates?that are fun! And with experience comes the know-how to keep my baby in stain free clothing. As much as possible anyway!

When Wesley was young I had to stay on top of potential blow outs and the mess they make on clothing. Now that Wesley is eating solids, I try to stay away from light prints that can be easily stained with darker foods like carrots!?Rinsing his clothing and pre-treating the stains as soon as possible is always a must. Dreft Laundry Stain Remover is perfect for this job and is specially formulated for tough stains. And did you know Dreft laundry detergent isn?t just for babies? I wash all my kids clothing in it to cut down on extra loads and it works great. Nothing beats that special scent.

What special baby outfit will you cherish forever?

?

Whether you?re a first timer or the greatest, grandest mother of them all, there?s on thing moms have agreed on for over 75 years- Dreft makes your little one?s fabric feel as clean and soft as can be.?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Dreft. As a part of this program I received the product, the opinions and text are all mine.
